Christmas

Hey everybody. I won't be able to post anymore posts for a couple of days. I will be hanging out with my family for Christmas and wanna have a really good time with them because their only staying for three days. Well Merry Christmas and I hope you guys have a good time. Bye!

The director of ParaNorman

Did you know the director of ParaNorman isn't the director of Coraline. I think that's kinda weird.

Henry Selick

 Do you know who Henry Selick is? He's one of my heroes. He's a stop-motion and animation film director. Ok. I'll tell you. He's the man who made Coraline! He's amazing. He's worked at a lot of different places before. One of them would be Pixar. Isn't that cool. You won't believe the films he has made. I think you know the hit Halloween and Christmas movie. With Jack Skellington and Sally the rag doll. It's The Nightmare Before Christmas! Henry Selick directed that movie. Do you know that movie with the giant peach. With that boy who kinda lives in it for a little while. You know. James and the Giant Peach. Ya. Henry Selick directed that too. He's directed a lot of movies. You should look online for the movies he's directed and then watch them. I bet their really cool. I think that's what I'm gonna do. Well, have fun.

Coraline Graphic Novel

  Yesterday I got this book called the Coraline graphic novel. Have you ever herd of it before? It's the regular book except it's like a comic book. So there will be pictures in it showing what's happening and also the characters will be talking. It's amazing!

Can't wait for ParaNorman

 Why does ParaNorman have to come out in August? I'm so excited I just can't wait! If you agree with me comment on this post. : )

Coraline and Etsy

  Do you know the website called Etsy. It's this website where you build, sew, and paint different things and then you can sell them. Or you can buy things that other people made. I bought a Wybie doll. You know. Wybie from Coraline. I also bought an Adventure Time bracelet there for my sister. Anyway, you can buy really cool Coraline stuff. Like they have Coraline dolls, Wybie dolls, and Coraline gloves. When ParaNorman comes out people will make and sell things of ParaNorman on Etsy. I think you should take a look at the website. Bye.

Laika websites

 Check this out! For the movies Laika makes they also make a website. Like for Coraline they made a really cool website. It has games, little videos, and you can explore the Pink Palace. Type in the search bar Coraline.com. You'll really enjoy it. For ParaNorman, the website isn't so exciting as Coraline's website but it's still pretty cool. I think it might develop into something really awesome. You can watch the trailer and go to this weird place on the website called Instagram. To go to this website type in the search bar ParaNorman.com. Have fun!

Stop-Motion films

 There's a lot of pretty cool stop-motion films on Youtube. The films all have different directors and companies and stuff. There's one stop-motion film creator named Noika. The time it took to make Coraline

 Guess how long it took to make Coraline. Did you guess? It took 18 months! To you it might be a short period of time but to me that's really long. It takes 3-6 months for preparation, 2-4 months on filming, and 6-8 months for editing a regular movie. That means it probably takes about 14 months to create a regular movie. Maybe even shorter. To make a clay mation character in Coraline it took 10 people to make 1 and that took 3-4 months. So Coraline is even longer than it seems.

The Cast of ParaNorman

 There's a lot of cool famous people in the movie ParaNorman. Like one is Anna Kendrick from The Twilight saga movies. And another is Tucker Albrizzi from the Disney channel show Good Luck Charlie and Jeff Garlin from the movie Daddy's Day Care. There's a lot more really cool actors. Laika

 Isn't Laika amazing? They make movies, commercials, and short films. Their commercials are really cool. You probably wouldn't think they made the m&m commercials. But they did! They also made a Honda commercial,  a Dole commercial, a Starbucks commercial, a Planters Peanuts commercial, a Willy Wonka Laffy Taffy commercial, and so much different commercials! Isn't that weird? I think you know the movies they made. The best movie ever is Coraline! Also coming out is ParaNorman and they made that movie too. I can already tell it's gonna be a super great movie. I think Laika is gonna make another movie in 2014. I don't really know. Laika also made a short film called Moongirl. It's really cool but really weird at the same time.

My thoughts about ParaNorman

 WOW! I'm so excited about the new movie from Laika called ParaNorman! I watch all movies made by Laika and Coraline is definitely the best movie ever. But with ParaNorman coming out on August 2012, I don't know which ones gonna be better. I bet they're gonna be equally the same, because any movies that Laika makes are the best movies ever!
